What is JSH
History and Objectives
The Japanese Society of Hypertension was founded on April, 1978.
Publications
The Hypertension Research - Clinical and Experimental - is the official professional journal of the JSH. A basic principle of the journal is to attach equal importance to both clinical and experimental studies including the disciplines of biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, immunology, physiology, pharmacology, and epidemiology. It is published in English, monthly. The Society also publish the Newsletter in Japanese, biannually.
Membership
The JSH has a membership of over 2,675 including supporting members, special members and honorary members, as of March 2007.
Meetings
Annual meeting is held in autumn under auspices of local committee.
